CV Crisis. most exciting day in every way possible.
WHERE DO I BEGIN. first off, my car was out of batteries because i left my keys on for like 30 mins while i was in the backseats cleaning. Some guy who i ran into, just HAPPENS to be an alumni from my highschool was there and he offered to push my car on neutral and jumped it for me yay! i was like yay! God’s watching over me today! I’m going to be able to pick up Matt Dooley afterall! but who knew.. it was the least of my worries. -_-;;
getting to Columbia in CV was prolly the most difficult hill i ever had to go up. And i’m not even talking about santa cruz, but bay area in general. So many lefts and rights and sudden calls from the GPS saying “sharp left here” after passing Canyon Middle school. omg. i cant do this! haha but FINALLY, i made it up that giant mountain of houses and trees and got to his house. yay.. picked him up and we were happily on our way to meet at Melissa’s house in Palomares.. or so i thought…
Matt said he knew his way to Palomares, so i’m like okay cool, no need for a GPS then, until we get there. We can just turn on the GPS later to find the house. so we did.. and when we got to Palomares… after some MORE hill driving and lots of turns, we found out she doesnt even live in Palomares! Jeremy lives here! Melissa lives in 5 Canyons!! -__-;; omgawssssshhh. i was going to shoot myself haha. but thanks to MATTHEW AND HIS TERRIBLE TRASH TALKING as my oh-so-nice backseat driver, we made it to 5 canyons and turned in at wrong streets. we finally found her house afterwards and dang, her house is NICE beyond nice. its soo big and pretty! and their community pool is amazing, never seen cleaner water, part of it being at the beach a lot and just came back from Water World yesterday. but yeah! had so much fun aha. Thanks Melissa and Matthew and Jeremy for another full and excting day. I can always count on you guys for being my non flaky friends, and dish out the best hang outs. <3 u all =] oh .. and Jeremy and his boyscout knots.. didnt happen, but one day it will!
When it was time to go home, i had to drive Matthew back, all good all good, but i was soooo hungry so we decided to get MCDs. what a terrible idea. I parked and ate, it was good but when it was time to back out… matthew heard some scraping on the bottom of the car, uh oh. he suggests that we pull back into the parking lot to see wats up. so i did. oh dang. it was terrible. -__-;; picture below…
aha… dang.. the splash shield came off and was scraping off. XD oh shoot! wat was i going to do?!?! i was illegally eating MCDs and getting my car all screwed up. mommys going to kill me!! but matthew said i should call her and i did… =T matt pointed out a car shop right across the the two way street. oh thats nice! how convenient. Gods here once again! haha. so we made our way over there and matthew did all the talking for me and even showed the guy this picture. just great. more embarassment. but watevs, the guy just said to bring the car over. oh no. how do i do that?! xD its like scraping the gravel and stuff. =[ but okay we drove <5 mph, and made a u-turn. Longest drive of my life.. the mechanic fixed it for me and didnt charge me! ^_^ he said it was just like a bandaid, no actual repairs done…and matthew said it would be 1000 dollars.. haha shoot myself. Thank you Lord for watching over me and Matthew today! no accidents! =) i didnt noe how to get home, so i seriously winged it, the GPS kept saying “signal lost” so much for listening to the gps. omgosh. eventually i found my way to Red Wood! yay. i decided to stop by Quicklys. who did i see there? Melissa, AGAIN! two times in one day <3 and saw Alex Ng too woot =] Good luck with your Basketball championship!
Today, jeremy drove over a squirrel, the car wins. Today, gigi drove over a parking curb, curb wins.
hm.. i dont really hold grudges so i guess thats almost the same thing. Its like virtually impossible for me to be upset at someone for an extent period of time. Its just so tiring to keep it up and i find it so unnecessary. so yes, i think i do.
Today i went with my mom to get fully body massage for an hour for a birthday present. it was AMAZING. It’s called A Perfect Day’s Spa in Fremont. Second full body massage ive had and todays experience was so much better. I highly recommend it. Mommy even bought the package deal for $578 dollars for 13 hours. so instead of 68/hour, Its $44/hr. We were going to get the $989 package deal but wasnt sure if we want to get so much hours in at this place yet, so yeah. but anyways. There were 3 levels of how much pressure u wish to get. I got the lightest and my Masseuse was Grace. Me and my mom went on a whim and didnt ask for a preferred masseuse. Grace, I loved her. Even though the experience with her as opposed to my first masseuse, felt more personal, i felt super comfortable and she was very professional. My mom had Didi as her masseuse and she asked for the medium pressure. We were both too scared to do the 3rd level, Deep Tissue Massage, as a first time in a new place.
Deep Tissue Massage include the acupuncture points, also known as Swedish Massage. We didnt think we would need it, but maybe one day. Overall, we were both very pleased. =] I’m totally making my appointments with Grace next time! too bad she doesnt work 3 days a week, so i’m limited to get my massages with her on mon, wed, fris and sundays. oh wells. allgood (:
It was very relaxing and it kind of hurt at first because she found my knots that i didnt even know i had and she took them all out. Once we were done, we were given a chance to put our clothes back on and when we left the room, Grace and Didi greeted us outside for a cup of water. And indeed we were both very thirsty. Who knew something like this would make one thirsty. While we drank our water, our masseuses told us what was tight and what kinds of knots we had and how we got them. Very helpful to know these things.
Oh bad thing about this place is that… the lobby seems nice, but once you get led into the hallway to get to your assigned room, its like a complete maze -__-;; almost took a wrong turn out. whew.
